Review

The book is a concise philosophy about a way of life and a manual at what to value. The self-help book has interesting anecdotes and chapters that are short, but convey essential ideas. The ideas weren't very revolutionary to me, as I am already a fan of Mark Manson's work. That being said, the ideas are powerful and are the best I've seen in my life. Sadly, in the concise size, much of the analysis and explanation is lost and instead just stated with support of perfect examples and denouncement of things that everyone knows to be bad. In diluting the argument to its simplest form, lots of the intricacies are lost and his philosophy is pumped up and hyped as the dream way of living. I foresee problems in his ideas unaddressed and see lack of support for many of the ideas. I used to believe other people would like this book even though I didn't, but instead I just recommend you read his AMAZING blog with much more convincing explanations and ideas - https://markmanson.net/best-articles
