GoodreadsReview
Sexuality, casual hookups, important yet superficial friendships, third wheeling, mental health, loneliness. I'm surprised how it was so beyond my standard conception of relationships, yet somehow still felt real and relatable. A kind of normal, peaceful, nostalgic past. The characters and story were simple and soft without tear jerking or dramatic moments, but it subtly resonated with parts of myself I didn't know existed. Simple lines and moments weirdly struck me. "Don't feel so sorry for yourself. Only assholes do that."
